The Wattles Fellowship

The Wattles Fellowship gives three graduating Vanderbilt women each year the opportunity to launch their careers through a paid, one-year professional role in London. Fellows work with leading global companies, gain highly transferable business skills, and join a lifelong community of accomplished Wattles alumnae.

The Wattles Fellowship is the only program of its kind, offering a one-year, fully integrated professional experience within the Lloyd’s of London market, the world’s leading marketplace for commercial and specialty risk. Wattles Fellows work in one of three roles: Facultative Reinsurance Broker – North America & Retro at Willis Towers Watson, Aviation Underwriter at Liberty Specialty Markets Limited, or Aviation Account Manager at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.

NHS health coverage

FELLOWS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Rent and maintenance fees, transportation, and personal living expenses.

The Fellowship is open to all majors. No prior experience is required, and every candidate receives a first-round interview.
